The 5 hour drive from Vancouver had us setting up camp in the dark.

The next morning we woke up to find many wild flowers surrounding our campsite.

With all the Spring run off, the river was raging.

Most of the climbs are a short hike in from the road on well worn trails.

Huge heucos and knee bars.

A slab problem with the option of a running start and dyno finish.

Pimpsqueak – V9.

Some well deserved end of day beers by the river.

Munchen Hausm our favorite sausage, pretzel and beer place in Leavenworth. So many kinds of mustard!

Granite Falls Kayak

The best camping on the Indian arm is at Granite Falls, it's 18km and between 3-6 hours one way. It's a beautiful paddle that ends at a large waterfall.

Howe Sound Crest Trail

We had actually planned to do the Howe Sound Crest Trail the weekend before and even gotten 5km into it but quit due to an unbelievable amount of bugs. You couldn't even keep your mouth or eyes open without bugs constantly flying into them. There was also still a ton of smoke from forest fires that made breathing difficult.
