Rohr Lake is beautiful area to ski tour, with fantastic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. We arrived at the lake just after sun down and made camp as some snow began to fall. We were pretty exhausted, so we dug the smallest space that would still fit the tent, with plans to widen it later.

The next day we skinned to the far side of the lake, looking for some mellow turns, as one of our group was still fairly new to skiing.

The last day we woke up early and began to clean up camp. It was already significantly warmer and we were lucky to find a slope to come down on that hadn't yet been hit by the sun.

Garibaldi Lake Trail and Panorama Ridge

This was our first time up there and while it was beautiful, it was very sad to see how much garbage had been left by people on the trail and lakeside. If you do decide to take the trip up there, please pack out all of your garbage.
